Future Position X is Europe’s leading cluster for innovative and expanding use of Geographic Information Technology. As a leading Cluster organization in this industry we help companies and organizations to research and develop new products and solutions and expand to new markets. We are over 200 companies and organizations working together in the cluster.
Future Position X headquarters, labs and incubator are based in the Gavle region in Sweden and we also have project office in Beijing and Wuhan and a market office and incubator in Zhuhai City in China.
Future Position X was launched in 2006 and is a nonprofit cluster organization, which acts as an independent arena for research and innovation in the Spatial Information Technology (SIT) field for the Smart City. Over 200 companies and organizations collaborate within the cluster. Our headquarters, labs and incubator are based at the Technology Park in Gävle, Sweden.
Future Position X has a strong international presence in innovation and research with partners in over 20 countries around the world we act as a bridge for the companies in our cluster to find new cusotmers and partners.We also have project offices in Beijing and Wuhan, and a market office and incubator in Zhuhai City, China.
Future Position X received the Gold Certification from the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI) 2012 – 2014 for its outstanding work, and won the European Cluster Manager of the Year award in 2010-2011.
