Digitization has in recent years totally changed how we consume everything from food products to clothing, film and music. With a simple push of a button you can now book your trip abroad, pay the bills or sell your old bike.
When you, as a private person, buy an item online, you usually need to be home when the messenger knocks on, otherwise you will have to go to the post office to retrieve their package. Even in working life, deliveries can lead to a break in the work, for example take a construction worker who has to lay down the hammer and go to the gate when the delivery car comes to leave building materials.
The problem with deliveries is something we at Qlocx have experienced themselves, both as in our private life and in previous employment in the construction industry. So on a beautiful day in 2016 we put our heads together to ask ourselves the question: Does this problem really need to be?
Our answer was that we invented a digitally connected locking system that is controlled by the mobile phone. When the lock is built into the family’s mailbox, the office’s mailbox or the construction project’s delivery container, the carrier can deliver directly at the door and never need to meet the recipient in order to leave the goods. All that is required is that both have a mobile phone with Qlocx app. In this way, queuing at the post office becomes a thing of the past and the work does not have to be disturbed by incoming deliveries. You get the goods when it suits you best and get them delivered close at hand.
At Qlocx we take logistics and deliveries to the digital age and make sure that it is just as easy to receive packages as to order them. It is precisely this that all our products have in common, whether you are a private person, an office employee, a construction worker or a carrier. Future deliveries are already here.
