Norrenergi AB is a Swedish district heating company situated in Solna, a city just north of Stockholm.
Norrenergi provides the municipalities Solna, Sundbyberg, Danderyd and surroundings with safe and competitive district heating and district cooling with the lowest possible impact on the environment. Beside heating and cooling we also offer our customers advanced technical services, which facilitate the control of energy consumption in the properties.
Our district heating is generated by large heat pumps, where treated wastewater is the heat source, and hot water boilers which mainly are fuelled with wood briquettes, pellets and tall oil pitch. District cooling is generated by heat pumps, cooling machines and cold sea water.
The environment has an important role in our company and we constantly look for new environmentally friendly solutions. We are certified according to ISO 14001:2004 and as the first energy company in Sweden, our district heating and cooling has obtained the ecolabelling Bra Miljöval (Good Environmental Choice) by The Swedish Society for Nature Conservation.
