Sustainable Småland was founded in January 2011. We are a regional environmental network with a special focus on knowledge sharing and development of innovative and challenging environmental solutions. We are located in Växjö, in a region with the ambition of becoming the Greenest in Europe. A city well-known worldwide for its pioneering development of biomass-fuelled district heating systems. This is one of the reasons how Växjö already found its way into the world media and gained the epithet “the Greenest City in Europe” from the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation).
In our network we share and strengthen our joint environmental knowledge. We can combine products and services from the world’s leading technology companies, with experience and knowledge of the public sector and the latest unversity research. The combination and the wide experience enables us to jointly develop environmental solutions for the future. Together we create:
