Wastewater treatment system for on-site wastewater treatment.

Alnarp Cleanwater Technology develops and markets ACT Natural™, a wastewater treatment system intended for on-site wastewater treatment. The biological system uses no chemicals and offers a unique sludge degrading process making sure that the environmental impact is minimal. In addition, recycling of up to 90% of the phosphorus can be secured. The results from a recent long-term validation carried out by JTI (The Swedish Institute for Agricultural and Environmental Engineering) show that ACT Natural™ meets the Swedish Authorities’ strict requirements.

ACT Natural™ is designed to as far as possible imitate nature’s own way of treating wastewater. This means, among other things that the system does not require any addition of chemicals. Instead, the system uses natural microorganisms and aquatic plants.

ACT Natural™ can be constructed for a single household, but the components of the system can be combined in an optimal way to serve multiple households, on several properties. In this way, reducing cost per household efficiently.
