To support partnership and cross-border collaboration between Sweden and China and build up possible export channels, Stiftelsen Dalarna Science Park, EEN Dalarna-Gävleborg and Smart City Sweden Central, together with its partners in the EU Project Innovation Centre (Qingdao) and Shanghai Technology Innovation Centre, organised a series of pitching and match-making events in China in November.
The events were held digitally and focused on the sectors of intelligent manufacturing, smart mobility solutions, smart building, the industry of internet and new materials technology. Four Swedish companies presented their solutions to selected Chinese companies from the area.
On the 4th and 5th of November, Stiftelsen Dalarna Science Park, EEN Dalarna-Gävleborg, Smart City Sweden Central, together with its partner EU Project Innovation Centre (Qingdao) held a consecutive European Cluster Summit and Road Show. Four companies from Sweden and 10 companies representing Germany, Spain, Finland, and France presented and shared their inspiring business offers to potential business partners in China. The two-day roadshow event was viewed by over 124,700 people and 40 Chinese companies participated on site.
On the 11th of November, a digital pitching event has held in Shanghai, which attracted 37 Chinese companies.
The events have already caught the interest from several potential business partners, and B2B matchmaking meetings will be arranged to follow up the interest. Stiftelsen Dalarna Science Park, EEN Dalarna-Gävleborg, and Smart City Sweden Central will continue to push these projects to their long-term cooperate industry stakeholders in China and follow up in the interest.
